Hello, My name is Michael Wilcoxon. I am an online coach who has been helping others find their way and achieve their health & fitness goals for the last 10 years.

A little about me

I came from humble beginnings. I grew up in a mid-sized town in Texas following in my family’s footsteps of playing football. Friday Night Lights was real for me – and I ended up receiving a scholarship and playing for the University of Texas.

As I matured, I realized there was more to life than football. Although I’d always been gifted athletically, I didn’t feel that was the path for me.

A little about me

I came from humble beginnings. I grew up in a mid-sized town in Texas following in my family’s footsteps of playing football. Friday Night Lights was real for me – and I ended up receiving a scholarship and playing for the University of Texas.

As I matured, I realized there was more to life than football. Although I’d always been gifted athletically, I didn’t feel that was the path for me.

After suffering a concussion during practice, I could keep my scholarship by working with the staff in the weight room where I found my passion and purpose. I was able to continue my studies and pursue a Fitness and Health Promotion Degree.

To say life has been easy would be a lie. You see, I went from playing football to hating it, I went from being a part of a close-knit team to feeling like an outcast letting them down. I have suffered from depression, anxiety, anger, and hopelessness.

Sometimes the biggest blessings come in disguise. Instead of turning to partying or alcohol, my athleticism turned me to the weight room. Lifting weights and committing to bettering my body helped the anger and depression leave my body. I was no longer lifting out of pain but had a renewed purpose.

My focus was bodybuilding, obtaining my degree, and restoring my confidence in myself. Looking back, I can honestly say that health & fitness saved my life. I truly believe you have to “live it to teach it.”

I can now reach people I could have never reached. I can now feel what other people feel, and I can help people I could have never helped.

For most of my life, I was my own worst enemy. I would start to get traction but then shoot myself in the foot. Have you ever done that?

I believe that everyone needs a customized nutrition and fitness plan to allow them to succeed! No two people are alike, and no two successful fitness journeys are exactly the same!

You see, nothing will change until you start working on what lies inside – the thing that lies between your ears and the thing that beats in your chest. 

Self-mastery is one of the most important aspects of life.

Our reality is dictated by our actions.

Our actions are dictated by our beliefs.

Our beliefs are created through the lens that we see the world through.

All of our experiences build and shape who we are. It’s our job to learn from them and make the decision of how we are going to react to them.

I have coached for over 10 years and have the experience and expertise to help you achieve your health and fitness goals!

While working on the outside is important and should always be heavily valued:

  • Being active

  • Resistance training

  • Eating healthy

The outside means nothing without working on the inside. The outside is just a manifestation of who we are on the inside.

How we see ourselves. How we treat ourselves. It truly is EVERYTHING.

It is my job and my purpose to help you cut through the bullshit and get out of your own way. To help remove your limiting beliefs and access your inner greatness.

I believe with all my heart that everyone has something to offer this world.

Everyone has a gift. It is our job to share that gift with the world.

That is why we created THIS program!

We at Hulk Built focus only long term solutions. We don't focus on being perfect or even always optimal. Instead we focus on what you can do right now, with the cards that you are dealt. What I mean by this is we work with your job, your schedule, and the priorities you have in your life (e.g. family, 2 jobs, etc.). If you only have 3 days to workout then great! If you have 5 days then great! We focus on what you can actually do CONSISTENTLY RIGHT NOW! We build out your system that will get you to your finish line(your goal) and through it! Our job is to teach you the value of investing in yourself again so you have more to give the world !
